  • Essex Cross Country Finals

    Congratulations to Sadie & Bertie who qualified for the Essex schools cross country final that took place today. 

    We are immensely proud of them for attending this event and representing the school.

    Sadie came in 4th for the year 6 girls and Bertie came in 17th for the year 3 boys.  An amazing achievement!

    During half-term the children were given a homework challenge to take a picture of themselves reading in an unusual place.  Well done everyone, we had some fantastic entries!  A winner from each class was awarded with a £5 book token to spend at our book fair.

    We are delighted to share our SIAMS report following the inspection that took place on the 22nd January. SIAMS stands for - Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools.

    It is a lovely read and I am so proud of everything we have achieved as a school community.

  • Y4 Superstars

    Our year 4's enjoyed a trip to CASC to take part in the superstars event competing against other year 4 teams from all over Chelmsford.  They came in first place on the day - an amazing achievement.  Special mention to Stanley & Max who received individual certificates.  Overall number of points for the boys - Gold for Stanley & Bronze for Max.  Well done boys!

  • Pupil Summit - Windrush Child

    On Tuesday 5th, a selection of children from the local Great Waltham school went to the Chelmsford cathedral and helped in the Windrush child project. They had to carry out activities such as writing info about themselves and family on post cards, doing a quiz and creating poems to make friends. They also listened to the book called Windrush child and tried a traditional dish called jerk chicken. We made many fabulous memories and great friends. ‘We were so grateful to the people who organised it and recommend it to any other schools!’ says the group of four, Finley H, George, Thea and Jennae.
