Thank you to Cllr. Mike Steel who cut the ribbon and opened our new mushroom scooter pods today with the pupils from our school council. Thanks to Cllr Steel the school secured a grant to pay for the new scooter pods just in time for the ‘Big Walk and Wheel Event’ week which takes place between the 11^th and the 22^nd March 2024.

The school council choose the colour’s of the mushrooms on behalf of all the pupils at school. We hope to see the mushroom pods used every day as part of our travel initiative, which is to encourage more walking and wheeling to school.

Remember, even if you drive to school, you can still help the initiative by parking further away and walking the rest of the way to school.
